Now before we begin, please note that this method requires your Huawei Mate 10 to be rooted. So if you have a rooted device, only then proceed with these steps.
Also, make sure that you don't have any call recording app active on your phone.
You would also be needing a root explorer (of your choice).
How to Enable Call Recording on Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro:
- First of all, download the HwcallRecorder.zip from this link.
- Now, extract the HwcallRecorder folder and its contents.
- Now, connect your phone to your PC/laptop and transfer the HwcallRecorder to your phone.
Open the root explorer and copy on the root folder : HwcallRecorder / system / app.- Keep the permissions as rwxr-xr-x
- Keep in mind that the files and folders in HwcallRecorder are as rw-r-r to HwcallRecorder.apk and rwxr-xr-x to oat, rwxr-xr-x to arm64 and rw-r-r to HwcallRecorder.odex and finally rw-r-r to HwcallRecorder.vdex respectively.
Now, close root explorer and open the Huawei Phone app.- Press the 3 dots (option menu) and choose settings.
- Now, choose the option Automatic call recordings which you would find somewhere around in the menu.
- Enable the Automatic call recordings option and go to Settings Automatic recording.
- Select All calls or all the numbers in your list.
- Done.
Now, to access recorded files:
- Press the 3 dots (option menu).
- Access the call records.
- You now have access to call records.
